Our new state-of-the-art veterinary facility was opened in September of 2001. Before opening the hospital, Dr. Kucher practiced in the Athens area for 17 years, the last two of which as a mobile, small animal veterinarian, performing “in-home visits” to care for patients and clients. Dr. Kucher thoroughly enjoyed her mobile veterinary practice, however, she often found herself unable to provide complete veterinary services in an efficient manner to all of her clients. This new state-of-the-art, full-service facility has allowed us to better accommodate the needs of our clients and patients, in a more timely and efficiently manner. In the new hospital, we have full digital radiology, laser surgery, video endoscopy, ultrasound diagnostics, dental care and in-house laboratory capabilities. There are separate hospitalization wards for dogs and cats, along with an intensive care unit for critical cases and an isolation ward for animals with potentially contagious diseases.
