Our Practice

Good Hands Veterinary Hospital was founded in 2001 by our late founder, Dr. Monica Kucher, a talented veterinarian, mother, and wife.

A 1989 graduate of Michigan State University, Dr. Kucher practiced veterinary medicine here in the Athens area for over 23 years. She took great pride in her work and earned a reputation for her high quality care, her straightforward approach to medicine, and her genuine concern for her patients. She embodied the values that our hospital strives to uphold every day and, although she's no longer with us, she'll always be our Chief. 

We remain committed to providing the highest quality veterinary care possible to all of our patients and aim to educate clients through open, honest, and compassionate means. We take pride in our work and look forward to meeting you and your pet.
